I've come to appreciate Woodman's over our many regular trips to Wisconsin. It's become our go-to to buy New Glarus beer while in the state, as well as any other snacks for the trip back home. Some things I love about Woodman's: * It's employee-owned, and every employee I've come across has been happy and helpful to chat with. * They are all laid out about the same. For example, I know that I can usually find the cheese curds (something else we typically stop for to give to others back home) in the cases near the back wall. * It's clean. * There is a wide variety of items, including produce and locally made products. * The attached liquor store is also easy to find your way around in. Like others have mentioned, Woodman's does not take most credit cards, so be sure to have cash on hand.

I went there for the first time! I loved the store & the different variety of item. However my excitement turned to disappointment when trying to checkout. I only carry my license, gas and Visa. Usually my Visa is accepted everywhere. Woodman's said they can only except Discover or Cash which I didn't have either. The store should have a large sign at the entrance. I spent a lot of time in there and then couldn't pay for my item. The cashier was very polite and explained about the Discover Card & She suggested to use the ATM which I would have, if I had my bank card on me.

This place is pretty awesome, a large supply of food as well as lots of other things. I'm giving this place a 4/5 rating just because they do not offer a credit card option. All purchases must be cash or debt which kind of sucks (I like to use credit to buy stuff). Otherwise this place is pretty great.

This store is so impressively overwhelming. Prices are great, selection is endless. The one thing I will say, we didn't know they were discover only. Maybe there's ample signage and we were distracted by our 7 month old, but we didn't notice signs

I don't have anything bad to say about Woodsman cuz I wish we have this kind of store in the South. I can get all what I need at this store. From household stuff, groceries and wine. Big selection in all Item. Each product would have so many to choice from. You have to see the Cheese aisle it's long and so many. I love it!!! The price varies some product will be more than other and some is what you expect at a store.

First thing I notice they have a large parking lot with double lines And it's usually a busy store. Clean and and large environment. Lots of amazing groceries you wouldn't usually find in most stores, as fruit and vegetables from other countries, lots of candy to choose from, dog stuff, the international isle is my favorite because they have Korean instant ramen and pho as well as Mexican cokes, and liquor store is huge. Only 2 things I do complain about tho is #1:the self checkouts, they're a headache to work with and seriously need to be updated, #2: And I feel like groceries are a bit over priced compared to Walmart or ALDIs but if you have extra money to spare and want to find new food to try out it's a perfect market for you Although I don't usually interact with staff so don't have much to say about they're staff. Hopefully you find this review helpful have a nice day

has everything which is nice because I don't like making a bunch of stops. The prices are pretty good too the one thing that I would love to see change about Woodmans is the attitude of most of the employees. It's almost like employees versus customers mentality. And I don't like seeing how some of the employees are treated by the veteran employees.

It's okay it is massive store well organized. It's no Wegmans but it will do for the Midwest. It's has all your Wisconsin and Michigan goodies. Cheese curd s brands of soda and root beer. Affordable is also found here. Nice workers and shoppers. I was glad I checked it out.

Woodman's is like a local Jungle Jim's without the kitsch. Or at least that was my initial reaction when I walked in to this location this last weekend. It is massive and overwhelming with more things and options than you could ever need. And we only cracked the surface of the produce section and the liquor store! It is set up as logically as any grocery store can be. The liquor store is well-stocked with local beer and wine, and the prices are comparable or better than my local Total Wine & More. This Woodman's was convenient to our hotel for our stay in Madison. The only negative....which I did not know before going to the store....your payment options are cash or debit. NO CREDIT CARD. That was...annoying. Still, great selection of stuff!
